The nogafa server used to host a few mail box but :
- the imap server was courier imap, who really works well but can’t handle really sophisticated features like sieve or delta chat.
- Every mail account was a local unix account (oh someone use contact@tld1.org and someone also wants contact@tld2.net? What a mess)
It’s still really experimental, but I’ve built 2 FreeBSD servers with dovecot + postgresql + postfix + opendlim + spf + amavisd + spamassin + clamav+ postgresql
